I’m going to fight my way to the top of this male dominated industry and claim my own award winning kitchen The second? I’m going to do whatever it takes to ignore Wyatt and his 45 starsI blew through this book in just over 24 hours because I couldn't put it down if I'd been on holiday I'd have managed it in one sitting I have loved the OPPOSITES ATTRACT series so much and book three did not let me down In fact Wyatt and Kaya gave me serious Vera and Killan vibes but in a different way so I was in a total happy placeWhat was interesting about Wyatt now Executive Chef of Lilou and his sous chef Kaya was that they'd been fierce friends for five years but with Killan leaving and Wyatt taking over as EC they became friends who only really fight less of the friends So this was a friends to lovers and frienemies story line that worked so wellKaya was the kind of feisty heroine I could totally get behind She was driven and she was focused and yet there were occasional vulnerabilities that spoke of realness Wyatt was a lot of these things too but he was 'yell y' as described by Kaya and all of his staff He dipped his head and looked at me from beneath lush lashes My uterus jumped up and down in my body like it was trapped in a CrossFit session against its willThe hot delicious tension between these two was palpable and I observed with my mouth kind of open The banter the sniping the veiled flirtation was everything It was a slow burn which is my favourite kind of burn and the end result was everything I wanted I need to speak about the cover which isn't my favourite but covers aren't usually make or break for me However it did put me off a little as the previous two covers rock my world What I am saying here is don't let this cover put you off if you don't like it because the words inside are addictive fabulousnessThis series is shaping up to be one of my absolute favourite contemporaries and I'm excited that there will be one I voluntarily read an early copy of this bookReviewed for JoandIsaLoveBooks Blog

Rare smiles and the thickening tension that’s started to simmer between us Wyatt Shaw might be Durham’s new shining star He might be up for a James Beard Award He might be my new boss and key to my future success but he’s also in my way So he can keep his smoldering looks and secret kisses And he can be the one that figures out how to make it through service without getting distracted by me I’m not the problem The problem is hi The Problem with Him is not just a romance story It has feminism and uneuality on working environment Especially on food industry However the pace Kaya the heroine are not really connect with me The pace is just too dragging In some part Kaya is just too much on doubting herself that I want to shake her Come on you suppose to be this tough career driven woman but acting like little girl Overall I think this book can be improved on the pace and the heroine character I managed to finish listening to the audiobook 3 stars

The Problem with Him Opposites Attract #3 I’m over men I’m done with them Or at least the ones that work in my kitchen Fine one man in particular Wyatt Shaw is cocky and condescending and so far out of his element that he doesn’t know which way is up Or how to run his brand new kitchen all by himself That’s where I come in Sous chef extraordinaire Second in command Bane of his existence I am the reason Wyatt’s doing so well as the new executive chef of one of our city READ MY REVIEW ON THE BLOGI was hungry 80% of the time it took me to read this book and if I wasn't hungry I was craving the yummy dishes mentioned in the story The restaurants are described like people with their very own personalities which helped so much to imagine the places For that alone you should make room for The Problem With HimBut let me tell you why else this was such a wonderful readThe heroine if you adore headstrong snarky heroines Kaya will have you head over heels in love with her in the first couple of pages She's smart ambitious with a touch of sweet to the tart and knows she kicks major ass in the kitchen But she also has a wary side about her is a little fearful and insecure because she has been burned in the past and doesn't trust what men say to be the truth I loved my job I loved it than anything in this world Except for maybe Wyatt’s job Life would be perfect for her if she had her boss's job because she thinks that she is way better at it Sometimes she seems entitled and a little too sure of herself in the professional department ad that's a pretty strong contrast to her personal insecurities When things start to heat up between Kaya and Wyatt she fights him tooth and nails finds all kinds of excuses why a relationship between them would never work ultimately though he slips through the cracks in her armor Everything Wyatt did was suddenly hot I mean everything He could have flossed his teeth and I would have worried about my panties melting off my body It was obnoxious The hero Wyatt is everything that is Kaya as well and that's why they butt heads at every occasion He challenges her though accepts her the way she is supports her and has secretly been in love with her for a long timeNow I usually prefer books written in dual point of few This story is an exception though because it shows the reader how wrong your perception can be when you are insecure and you let that insecurity overshadow and uestion everything you do and that happens to you I really liked that because over the course of the book my perception of Wyatt changed too He has always been Kaya's champion and she didn't realize it until she opened herself up to himWhen I saw the first glimpses of his feelings for her I started to fall in love with him He is witty always has a comeback on his lips and is steadfast loyal and oh so patientI adored the explosive connection between Kaya and Wyatt Steamy It was an extremely slow burn and the real relationship development happened in the last 30% At that point it started to accelerate and was a little bit rushed toward the end I would have liked to see an even progression of their relationship “You’re my weakness I see you across the kitchen and I crumble I lose my train of thought and I forget what I’m in the middle of doing I see you and there is only you You’re going to get me fired” This story shows you the busy life of an executive chef and sous chef and let me tell you I got exhausted reading it They pretty much work whenever they don't sleep I have no idea how they do itThe Problem With Him is a fun fast read with very lovable main characters and an eually lovable side cast The author's crisp humorous writing style makes it entertaining and enjoyable  This story doesn't have much angst although you'd expect it with the enemy to lovers trope Rachel Higginson is becoming an auto read fast and I'm looking forward to Dillon's book
