The Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook : More Than 100 Recipes From the Best Little Bakery In the South Ä Stic Cheddar Pecan Rounds and much Irresistible full color photographs of food and behind the scenes bakery shots will give readers a glimpse into the sweet daily life at the bakeshop Celebrating family traditions scratch baking and uality ingredients  The Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook is like a down home bake sale in a boo I've never been to this bakery though I'm very familiar with the Low Country so maybe that would change my opinion of this book There isn't anything wrong here but there's nothing incredible either The recipes are sound but there's very few things that are radical or new I was put off by the Paula Deen forward not a fan of her or her cooking; I also felt that the recipes went a little heavy on the buttersugar Not that I'd expect a bakery cookbook to be low cal but I thought in some cases it would yield things that were too richThe chocolate bread recipe is great and some of the savory recipes are good ideas too If you're a fan of the bakery then this is for you If not then I'd recommend skipping this EBOOK ô More Than 100 Recipes From the Best Little Bakery In the South ê Cheryl Day
