It might be what saves them In love with a man who can neve It may just be me since the majority of readers seem to absolutely love this story but I really couldn't connect with the characters here I also felt that the story dragged and I found myself skimming through parts of it and it still took me 4 days to get through it Even the SDSG chat couldn't help me with that There was a lot of secrecy involving Everett and Caleb's relationship and it turned out that the reason was nothing all that big and it was almost the same for me with the build up to what a psycho Bastian had become and the eventual resolution of that storyAs I said I appear to be in the minority so you may get mileage of it than I did but I'm sorry to say this was my least favorite book of the series so far I am looking forward to Knot's story and having the man of mystery's story finally revealed

Got When a night out with his boyfriend ends with a steamy proposition from a gorgeous stranger Caleb doesn’t think life can get any better Still reeling from news that broke him over a year ago Caleb is eager to distract himself with carefree fun and there’s nothing he likes better than seeing Everett have a good time Only there’s something in their perfect stranger’s eyes that speaks to him something he can’t shake And something that leaves him ready to defend both Everett and their glittery conuest when what should have been the hottest night of their lives goes wrong The Promise is a 145000 word contemporary omegaverse novel featuring a uirky group of single dads a glitter arms deal of epic proportions a scene where cosmetics are applied in a way that’ll leave you blushing a metric fckton of fun and three men who discover that love can’t be divided but that it can be multiplie Ugh I hated it I like ménage relationships but I don’t love them I always feel like someone is left out and I have yet too see where it’s eual I don’t even know why Caleb was part of the book because it seemed like the Jayne and Everett show It just annoyed me a lot to see that they were obviously closer and made the read not fun Another reason I was so flipping bored I wanted to cry there was a lot of times when I had to power through and not DNF like I so baldly wanted to Again I skimmed so much I’m not even sure I shelf this as read One thing I’m seeing a pattern in these ménage books Two people are already in love and connected and then a third person comes along And then they realize that their relationship is so much better with them and “omg what would they have done with out this person” I’d love to read where it’s 3 or strangers that fall in love together not 3 or people that are already in love and meet a stranger and fall in love with said stranger Anyways that’s all I have to say but I am super exited for the next book and at least this book made me like Knot a lot Read at your own risk
