For fans of the bizarre the weird the strange StrangeHouse Books brings you a whirlwind of eighteen tales sure to amuse confuse horrify and leave you uestioning your lack of. It is very rare to find a collection of short stories where every single one is gold Even rarer is to have this collection from ONE author who delivers 18 tales of well written original and the disgusting bizarre comedic feel that only Strangehouse can compile John Bruni's has an amazing ability to tell multiple different stories each with it's own tone and pace where honestly I would have thought each story was written by a different author I never hear the same voice twice in my head when reading this book I could not find one story in here that I didn't like a few that really stuck out are Suicidal Tendencies with Nicole Evans which is absolutely hilarious A bit serious and dark is Pimp of the Living Dead the title pretty much gives you an idea but the story really takes a few steps further Some of the stories were really short like about two pages in some cases but Bruni has a way of keeping it simple while at the same time giving you than enough to enjoy the story from start to finish An example would be Corpusplasty I love the concept for this story I would give but it's short and worth the read The whole book is worth a read or two or threeLove this collection love this author

Tales of Questionable TasteTaste From the warped synapses of John Bruni come stories of the destruction of earth via a humongous totally nude man in space a portal to another dimension inside of an off. Strangehouse is my go to publisher for all things bizarro I support a lot of publishers but these guys have yet to dissapoint me and as I read Tales Of uestionable Taste I was once again reminded of why this is my favorite publisher Despite the fact that it was a freebie on I have bought just about everything Strangehouse has released and would have paid for this one as well I loved this anthology a great deal and highly recommend it to everyone While going into all of the stories would be a bit overkill I can say that the thing that makes Tales so good is the fact that it crosses over into so many different genres You have horror comedy and yes even bizarro but the are any of these stories ueationable Of course but so what Tales flows like a river and unlike a lot of short story collections there isn't a clunker in the bunch If you're a fan of a variety of genres then you'll love this collection but if you happen to be one of those narrow minded folks then you'll find a lot to complain about and will no doubt post one star reviews claiming that the author has ADD and should figure out what kind of fiction he wants to write
