Her acorn treasures beneath the shadows of the great oak trees in the forest little does she know the role she plays in creating the very environment she forages This beautiful book relates information about the life cycles of animals and plants and how they are interconnected The text rhymes which is always a bonus to me The lovely illustrations help young listeners and readers better understand the text It fits very nicely into my curriculum for fall how animals meet their needs poetry and life cycles I got it as a recent book fair and I am so glad I did
