Sparwood Academy the place where four people from the wrong tracks are headed They made their choice and now they’ve immersed themselves in the dark rich and cruel world of the young elites It begins as a job but the four of them soon realize that to survive they must stick togetherBook one was amazing I am definitely one of those people that judge a book for being too short It said about 206 page on kindle All I could think was “how can you write a decent story in so little pages” Well I’m about to eat some humble pie because this was greatThe story was well developed and interesting I’m not a fan of bully stories since they’re really overdone BUT I am a fan of this kind of bully story Where the heroine and heroes are on one side and other people are trying to bully them Also we all love a story that revolves around boarding schoolThere was suspense in this story In a way it reminded me of The Boys of Brayshaw High just a bit different The suspense mixed with bullying and romance really adds to the reading experience And can I say I absolutely loved that there was no rush on the steam but I could feel the chemistry between the charactersNow I’m going to binge read book twoPlot ♡♡♡♡♡Heroes ♡♡♡ didn't get to know them enough yetHeroine ♡♡♡♡Steam noneCover ♡♡♡♡Writing ♡♡♡♡♡HEA view spoiler not yet hide spoiler

Sparrowood Academy is for the elite The rich The well connected Eden Warren is none of those things She’s. Rating 4 starsAngel Lawson's books can be a hit or miss and the first book of Sparrowood Academy was most definitely enjoyableEden comes from Kingston the bad part of the bad neighborhood Since her sister's disappearance she has been by herself blaming the world and particularly the K Boys the Kings of their universe and appointed guard dogs of their people But when all four of them are picked out to go undercover in a boarding school for rich kids they are forced to join forceThe beginning of the story can seem oddly confusing The book alternates with point of view and the reader doesn't know at first who are the main characters and what the eff is happening But soon enough Angel Lawson pulls us in the story and make us root for the character and feel utterly disgusted by whatever is going on in this freakish school I gotta say it differs a bit from a classic RH young adult or not as it does not primarily focus on the romance This time it is not about being a slow medium or fast burn it's about characters putting their differences aside for the greater good They are partners in crime or investigation if I may than friends let alone lovers And that ladies and gentlemen is pretty refreshing as the story gets a real plot to back up the lack of romance HALLELUJAHTrigger Warning blackmail abuse underage sex drugs and seriously fishy hazing While the book is not overly dark nor dramatic it revolves around really somber issues and bullyingYou might also like Introductions The Silver Swan Paper Princessand a few others that are taking their sweet time to come back to me

Sparrowood Academy Sparrowood Academy #1Spent most of her life in Kingston mostly hanging down at The Park with her sister Hope When Hope goes missi. Lawson is a new author to me I have been in a mood for academycollege RH If they tend to have assholes for the heroes well that fits my mood even betterIn this one though the asshats are not the heroes it hit the spot I liked Eden and the boys The story kept me hooked that I stayed up till midnight to finish this I haven’t done that in a while Plus right now I have a severe case of insomnia so finishing a book helps better than tossing and turningI can’t wait to see what is in store for Eden and the guys in the next book and I am seriously curious about Trip and his role with Hope
