Download Book ´ Prince of Demons Renshai Chronicles #2 704 pages ç Mickey zucker reichert ô It is a crucial moment in the world of men as the elves who have survived Ragnarok are determined to destroy humankind Now with an imposter placed upon the Bearnian throne the critical balaOw with an imposter placed upon the Bearnian throne the critical balance between Law and Chaos may finally be overthrown An odd book and I'm still not sure what to think of itIt starts where the previous left off and our companions are still looking to get Griff put on the Bearnian throne From there the plot kind of meanders with a lot of space been taken by the relationships between our main POV's with the major plot of the elves versus humanity though constantly there taking a back seat somewhatAll the POV's from the previous are still present though the main focus is definitely on Kevrel Ra khir and Tae Though they were interesting I did get a bit bored with the whole dynamic between the three of them it took up far too much page count The author is doing well showing how they've changed not uite so young but still a lot hormones floating aroundHowever we do get of Colbey the gods and the elves compared to the first book and these are by far the most interesting scenes especially once Colbey starts going into the realm of Chaos Still not totally sure where it's all going but I'm interested to find out I also loved when Colbey finally went to Valhalla and I wish the author could have added a few scenes there just to meet some old friends Ah wellThe last part of the book took the story in a pretty random and disturbing direction It basically got all kind of Handmaid Tail ey and seemed to come from nowhere Kevrel was seriously abused in this section and whether it was the intention of the author or not I felt there was judgement there on pre marital sex that left me pretty uncomfortable The scene with Tae in the east at the same time didn't help matters either I did enjoy this book even with these complaints and I will be continuing with the final part of this series Hopefully like the first series the conclusion will be the best part35 rounded downPlease see this and other reviews at
